Allocation of Roles

Scriptwriting:
Lucy decided to write the script as the plot was her idea so she had the clearest image of what was going to happen therefore making it easier for her to write it.

Camerawork:
Hannah and Alfie did a lot of the camera operating as they were most confident with the camera but Lucy and I also helped by suggesting improvements or just checking to see if the shot looked good.

Set Dressing:
We picked the location as a group and we all helped with removing items that didn't make sense or made the shot look cluttered.

Directing:
We all helped with directing our actors and telling them what we wanted them to do.

Our Actors

Alfie:
We picked Alfie because like Character 1 he is both tall and male. He also had the confidence to be able to play a cruel detective, a character type that was very common in film noir.

Saffron:
We picked Saffron because she had the ability to look very defeated whilst also maintaining an element of defiance that was necessary for Character 2. She was also very good at delivering the final line which is a very important part of our film.
